325mesh chromite ore fines 325#
Chromite ore fines 325# is an iron chromium oxide found naturally in the earth crust. It is the most industrially important mineral for the production of metallic chromium by far, used in the production of stainless and tool steel. It is also used as a refractory material because of its high heat stability. Chromite ore fines extracted from chromite sand is used in Chrome plating & alloying for production of corrosion resistant super alloys. Chromite ore fines is also used as a pigment for glass, glazes & paints and as an oxidizing agent for tanning leather. Application: Used in high duty grey iron and steel foundries as core and mould making sand, in steel production it is used as a fller, used for production of green glass beverage containers
